Material stack

Designed to be extremely high-performance  and fit-for-purpose, our battery cell is a unique combination of  a pure lithium-metal anode, a high-voltage cathode and a next-generation liquid electrolyte.

Anode

We use a pure lithium-metal anode providing a high-energy density.

Electrolyte

Next-generation liquid electrolyte with high safety characteristics.

Cathode

High-voltage cathode that contains no cobalt and significantly less nickel to enhance sustainability and affordability.

Combining our battery components into a functional high-performance battery requires a innovative approach to battery design and manufacturing. To combine the materials we apply patented nano coatings on different components through a scalable technique.

Our performance

Using traditional lithium-ion batteries as a baseline, novali battery cells promise approximately twice the range, twice the charging speed, and can be acquired at a significantly lower cost. In addition, our cells offer enhanced safety and sustainability characteristics.
